LG is one of the first customer electronic brands to make a bet on Android in the early days of the Nokia and BlackBerry competitors using their own cellular system at that time – and that, unfortunately, also one of the first call it stop. HTC was still hung by Utas, and Sony did not seem to be affected by the sales number, but LG finally decided it was not worthy of getting red again for consecutive years without seeing light at the end of the tunnel.
Nonetheless, the company still has a moral and law obligation to support cellphones that have been sold to consumers, even though their actual ability to promise its promise is not a definite agreement at this time. That is why it is a pleasant surprise to hear LG will launch Android 12 to three smartphone models at the end of this quarter, even while updates promised for two other models remain invisible.
LG pushed several smartphones before finally throwing towels last year. One of the big promises made by the company when announcing the outgo of the cellular business is that it will still drive updates to existing cellphones. The LG track record with Android updates is not really a star, and the official words leave things that are open to interpretation. Considering labor-reduced labor in its cellular division, almost no LG guarantees that will actually be able to fulfill those promises.
It doesn’t stop it from trying, or at least install a brave front. On the South Korean company website, LG shows it will push Android 12 to three smartphone models in the second quarter of 2022. It gives it a window opportunity between now and at the end of June, but it is only guaranteed for the model sold in the region in the region.
These three phones include Mid-Range LG Q92 5G, as well as the LG V50 thin phone TheQQ and LG V50S Thewq. The last two models are quite important because their double screen accessories, which are trying to offer experiences that precede the Microsoft Surface duo and other modern folds. Like many innovations that are brave, this, unfortunately, quite ahead of his time.
This is not the first time we have heard the promise it will update this cellphone model. In fact, the LG V50 and V50S have been named last year along with other models that should get Android 12, but not Android 13.
