In April 2021, four months after the introduction of Apple Fitness + – mentioned as the first fitness service built around Apple Watch, the company expanded this program to include exercises directed to pregnant women. This program aims to help women have an active lifestyle during pregnancy. It contains ten exercises that focus on pregnancy in all power, core, and cooldown attentively – each lasts 10 minutes. Most exercises are part of a program that focuses on preparing the body for pregnancy. A year later, Apple expanded the scope of the program to serve mothers who recently had babies, CNET reports.
The Apple pregnancy focus program now includes a new series titled “Return to Fitness after having a baby.” It contains seven exercises designed for mothers in the postpartum period – all of which cross the same category as before – attentive strength, core, and cooldown. Like pre-pregnancy training series, every exercise in the new regimen lasts only 10 minutes.
Apart from the upper body exercise, the lower body, and total-body, the Apple Fitness + Postpartum program includes exercises that help the mother build the power of AB and their backs. Many exercises are designed to strengthen the pelvic muscles that relax during childbirth. Apple said this exercise was designed to help mothers feel more comfortable regardless of the type of delivery.
This program first focuses on core training designed to create the foundation for other exercises that follow it. Then, when you progress, it turns his attention to the exercise that uses one dumbbell light (or moderate) or only your weight. While users can follow this post-pregnancy training regimen itself, Apple confirms that it can be combined with other exercises in the Fitness Library +.
Apple claims that new exercises can help mothers feel stronger and more energetic and help them take the demands of parents. However, the company recommends checking with your doctor before starting the program.
Apple offers a one-month free trial for Apple Fitness + services in more than 20 countries. After that, customers can pay $ 9.99 a month for Apple Fitness + alone. Another option is to get a service for $ 29.95 a month along with the Apple One Premier plan, which also includes subscriptions to other services, including Apple Music, Apple TV +, Apple Arcade, and Apple News +. Apple is also a 2TB iCloud storage bundle with this plan that can be shared with up to six family members.
