We have heard a lot of buzz about the coming smartphone called Oneplus Nord CE 2 Lite for the past few weeks. The people at 91mobiles are the first to talk about the device, which should be a toned-down variant of Oneplus Nord CE 2 launched a few weeks ago in certain global markets.
Today, we have some more updates about Nord CE 2 Lite, thanks to the famous Leaker Yogesh Brar who shared the alleged specifications of the model on his Twitter account. More importantly, Yogesh also posted rendering the first smartphone he claimed was Nord CE 2 Lite.
The image shared by Yogesh showed a very different cellphone than posted by 91mobiles two weeks ago. New photos show off devices that share several signs of design with Oneplus Nord CE 2. However, at the time of closer inspection, becoming clear Oneplus Nord CE 2 has an extraordinary resemblance to the realm 9 pro. And because you will soon know, the similarities are not only limited to design languages but also extend to most hardware specifications – although with some important exceptions.
As for the remaining specifications, Yogesh claims Oneplus Nord CE 2 Lite will display a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel that supports FHD + resolution.
Like Pro RealMe 9, it will be reported to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset with support up to 128GB of storage. Lite Oneplus Nord CE 2 can be offered in 6GB and 8GB RAM options, too. The 64MP main camera used in the Realm 9 Pro was taken to Oneplus Nord CE 2 Lite. However, what has not been brought, is an 8MP ultrawide camera. In front, Oneplus Nord CE 2 Lite can get the same 16MP sensor used in the 9 Pro RealMe instead, even though it hasn’t been seen.
Oneplus Nord CE 2 Lite is expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery that will support 33W fast charging like Realm 9 Pro. As mentioned in our previous report about Oneplus Nord CE 2 Lite, the device won’t get a traditional Oneplus warning slider. Apart from the sports fingerprint scanner mounted on the side, the previous report has discussed the possibility of Oneplus to maintain a 3.5mm audio jack on the upcoming phone.
